SDAN’s October meeting announced the launch of its “The SDS Sustainability Project” ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) grant, awarded through the DDA. The ability of participants to continue self-directing for as long as they wish to do so has been a long-term advocacy focus for SDAN. This project aims to support self-directing participants during a crucial period of transition that typically occurs later in the adult years.
And, as part of our recent Strategic Plan renewal, we reaffirmed our vision and mission statements and issued a call for new board members.
