Ed Little addresses the first DDA listening session on Self-Directed Services in Bowie on September 12. He stated how important his ability to hire his sister and other family members is to his feeling of safety and security. He requests that he continue to be allowed to have that CHOICE in how his services are provided and by whom. He does not want to see any restrictions on self-directed services going forward as are included in DDA’s proposed changes to the Waiver in Amendment 2.
