All testimony becomes part of the public record. Anyone in Maryland 
can submit testimony, so please feel free to share this email
and ask your friends, family, vendors, and providers too!

STEP 1—Prepare a pdf file of your written testimony for upload.

The first page of your testimony should prominently include the following:

  • SB0319 Budget Bill OR HB0350 Budget Bill
  • Hearing Date
  • Your name or organization
  • Include your ‘My Story’ page, if you made one!

Save your testimony as a PDF file. Other file formats are not accepted.

STEP 2—REGISTER for a MyMGA online, if you don’t have one. Registration can be done at any time.

STEP 3—Oral and written testimony is accepted from 8AM – 6PM two business days in advance of the hearing. See above for specific dates.

SIGN IN to MyMGA

  1. Sign in to your My MGA account.
  2. Click “Witness Sign Up” from the menu.
  3. Find the hearing you want to provide testimony on and select it. Hearing dates will only be displayed during the 8AM-6PM testimony acceptance period noted above.
  4. If it’s a bill hearing, choose your position (BRFA is “unfavorable”).
  5. Select what type of testimony you wish to provide.
  6. For written, click the “Upload Files” button.
  7. Select the PDF files containing your written testimony from your computer.
  8. Click “OK” to close the file upload window.
  9. Confirm the bill is selected and click “Save” to complete the testimony sign-up.
STEP 4—Be sure to *SAVE* before you go or your testimony will not be submitted!
